I have a Golden with Disc Disease in her back. She would repeatedly slip on my tile floors. I was beginning to think I was going to have to put her down. These shoes were the last resort for my husband and I. We were willing to try anything to keep "our baby". They work so well, she runs through the yard again. Thank you for selling these shoes. These shoes are wonderful! We have a 15-year-old Australian Shepherd named CJ, and we have just remodeled our home. Most of the flooring is tile and CJ was afraid to walk on it because he would frequently slip and fall. I was fed up with CJ not being able to walk through our home, so I bought these booties as a last resort. I was skeptical that they would not be slip resistant and that CJ would be able to take them off, but both of my doubts did not come true. One of the problems that we had before we bought the shoes was that CJ would freak out when he stepped on the tile and tense up. This made his claws stick out and he would make himself slip and fall because he was not using the pads of his paws. These booties have given CJ a new confidence! He runs on the tile and is unafraid of falling because he now has traction. He does not try to remove them, and the straps secure the booties very well. They must be fairly comfortable because he wears them for hours. I definitely recommend these shoes. A great product. --Shana
I tried three different types of shoes for my dog and these dog shoes are the only ones that stayed on. I have a Great Dane and we take her for hikes and the shoes stayed on the whole trip. I recommend these shoes to anyone with a larger breed. I think they would work for smaller breeds, but I have yet to try. --Donna
